Bit has been leading software and product development teams for 10 years and has worked with some of the biggest websites in the Philippines. He has spend the past seven years with OLX Philippines where he helped scale a small, nimble web development team to a fully-equipped product and technology team across all of its current platforms. A technology generalist and a builder at heart, Bit is passionate about everything that’s involved in building world-class products, from building an effective team and developing its people to making sure that the right things are built the right way.

Based on my presentation shared at a Product PH meetup, I share how strategy formation and execution through mission command, and defining shared values and practices are the foundations of an agile product development culture. I'll share specific examples of how we had done it in OLX, and our journey to our current ways of working. This will include how these foundations shaped the team design and influenced the development methodologies used.
